If you live or work in Alpharetta and need addiction treatment that fits around a career and family, outpatient care may be the right fit. Atlanta Outpatient Rehab by The Recovery Village is about 13.5 miles from downtown Alpharetta, straight down GA-400 at 325 Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs. Our intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient dual diagnosis treatment and group therapy are built for adults who are medically stable and can live at home during treatment. See our Sandy Springs location page for building, parking and entrance details.

Driving From Alpharetta to Sandy Springs

Almost every Alpharetta route uses GA-400. The trip is about 13.5 miles and takes roughly 20 minutes with light traffic. During the weekday morning and evening commute, 35 to 45 minutes is more realistic, so evening sessions are worth asking about if you commute to Avalon, North Point or Windward.

  • From downtown Alpharetta / City Center: take Old Milton Parkway or Haynes Bridge Road to GA-400 south. Exit at Hammond Drive near Perimeter Center and drive west on Hammond Drive toward Roswell Road.
  • From Windward Parkway or Deerfield: join GA-400 south at Windward Parkway and follow the same route; the drive is a few miles longer.
  • From North Point / Mansell Road: use the Mansell Road or Haynes Bridge Road ramps onto GA-400 south.

Transit: MARTA rail doesn’t reach Alpharetta, but North Springs station, at the north end of the Red Line off GA-400, has park-and-ride parking. From there it’s one stop to Sandy Springs station and a short rideshare to our building. We don’t provide transportation, so plan a reliable ride before your first session.
