Getting to Our Center From Roswell
The drive from Roswell to our center is about 9 miles. Without traffic it takes around 20 minutes; at rush hour, allow 30 minutes or more, especially where Roswell Road crosses the Chattahoochee River.
- From Canton Street and the historic district: head south on Atlanta Street (GA-9/GA-120), cross the Chattahoochee, and continue south on Roswell Road into Sandy Springs. Turn left onto Hammond Drive; our building is just past the intersection.
- From east Roswell (Holcomb Bridge Road area): take Holcomb Bridge Road west to GA-400 south, exit at Hammond Drive near Perimeter Center, and head west on Hammond Drive toward Roswell Road.
- From Martin’s Landing or the Riverside Road area: pick up Azalea Drive or Riverside Road to Atlanta Street, then follow Roswell Road south as above.
Transit: Roswell has limited public transit. Some patients drive to MARTA’s North Springs station park-and-ride off GA-400, ride one stop to Sandy Springs station, and take a short rideshare from there. We don’t provide transportation, so our admissions team will help you think through a dependable way to get to sessions before you start.

- Outpatient dual diagnosis care: treatment for substance use together with conditions such as depression, anxiety or PTSD, so both are addressed in one plan. See outpatient dual diagnosis treatment.
- Individual and group therapy: one-on-one sessions and skills-based group therapy focused on relapse prevention, coping skills and rebuilding routines.
When you need a higher level of care
This center provides outpatient care only. If you need medical withdrawal management or 24-hour support before outpatient treatment is safe, our sister campus is right in your city: The Recovery Village Atlanta in Roswell provides medical detox, residential treatment and a partial hospitalization program. Many people complete that care in Roswell and then step down to IOP with us in Sandy Springs.

Roswell Outpatient Rehab FAQs
How far is your outpatient center from Roswell?
About 9 miles from downtown Roswell, usually 20 to 30 minutes south on Roswell Road or GA-400 depending on traffic.
Is there an outpatient program at The Recovery Village Atlanta’s Roswell campus?
No. The Roswell campus focuses on detox, residential care and PHP and does not run an intensive outpatient program. Outpatient and IOP care for the group is provided here in Sandy Springs.
Can I keep working while I attend IOP?
Often, yes. IOP is designed so you live at home, and sessions can often be scheduled around work. Federal and state job protections may also apply if you need time off.
Can I start with outpatient care instead of inpatient treatment?
Sometimes. If you’re medically stable and not at risk of dangerous withdrawal, IOP may be an appropriate first step. Our phone assessment helps decide which level of care is safest.
