For Marietta and East Cobb residents, the closest Recovery Village outpatient program is just across the Chattahoochee River. Atlanta Outpatient Rehab by The Recovery Village is about 14 miles from Marietta Square at 325 Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs, a short hop off I-285. We focus entirely on outpatient care: an intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient dual diagnosis treatment, individual therapy and group therapy for adults who can live at home while they recover. Building and parking information is on our Sandy Springs location page.

Directions From Marietta

From Marietta Square the drive is about 14 miles. Expect around 20 to 25 minutes outside rush hour and 35 to 50 minutes when I-75 and I-285 are congested.

  • From Marietta Square (interstate route): take North Marietta Parkway (GA-120 Loop) to I-75 south, then I-285 east (the Perimeter) toward Sandy Springs. Use Exit 25 for Roswell Road, head north about half a mile, and turn right on Hammond Drive.
  • From East Cobb: many drivers avoid the interstates by taking Johnson Ferry Road southeast across the river into Sandy Springs, then Abernathy Road east and Roswell Road south to Hammond Drive.
  • From the Cumberland / Galleria area: I-285 east to Exit 25 (Roswell Road) is the most direct route.

Transit: CobbLinc buses connect Marietta with the MARTA system, but a transit trip to Sandy Springs involves transfers and takes far longer than driving. Most Marietta patients drive or get a ride. We don’t provide transportation, so we’ll help you plan a reliable way to reach sessions.

Need detox or residential care first?

This center doesn’t offer detox, residential or overnight care. If withdrawal needs medical supervision, or you need a stay away from home, our team can coordinate care at The Recovery Village Atlanta, our sister campus in Roswell that serves Marietta with medical detox, residential treatment and partial hospitalization. You can then step down to IOP here.

Marietta Outpatient Rehab FAQs

Is there an outpatient location in Marietta?

Our only outpatient center is in Sandy Springs, about 14 miles from Marietta Square. Its location near I-285 makes it reachable from most of Cobb County in under half an hour outside rush hour.

What’s the difference between IOP and PHP?

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) involves most of the day, most days of the week. IOP requires fewer hours, so it’s easier to combine with work or family. We offer IOP; PHP is available at our Roswell sister campus.

Can I use county services and your program together?

Yes. Many people use community resources such as peer support meetings alongside IOP. Tell our team about any providers you already see so care can be coordinated.
